Full polycarbonate (PC) housing, UV resistant, anti-yellowing and very flame retardant.
Standard plastics will experience about 30% reduction in light transmission and become heavily yellowed within 12 months due to heat generated from the LEDs and exposure to UV. We use engineering-grade PC material with UV stabilizers to ensure the housing does not yellow or become embrittled during life of over 30,000 hours.
Presented with a selection of three enclosure finishes-a frosted white, a milky white and a clear-all fit E26/E27.
As long as the lamp body remains the same, wholesalers can deliver to end customers different covers reflecting different lighting effects just by switching covers.
