Dimming Modes
On / Off
For conditions where there's no need for dimming (for example, in ordinary homes or small shops) also relatively inexpensive.
0-10V / 1-10V
It is used to control the driver's output current from a low-voltage direct current signal to provide linear dimming over a 0%–100% range ( 10V indicates 100% brightness and 0V, or 1V, indicates the minimum, usually around 10%, brightness); is easy to install an extremely reliable and is used where large quantities of light are needed in the commercial and industrial market.
DALI
Facilitates two-way communication; one DALI Network can accommodate the connection of 64 independent drivers enabling the grouping of drivers into 16 groups with programming for 16 separate scenes; there is a wide granularity of dimming levels reaching a peak of 0.1%.
Installation Methods
Recessed
The light fitting is flush mounted into the suspended ceiling and is flush with the surface unlike traditional light fittings. Without this feature dust is not able to settle on the ceiling surface adding to the aesthetic feel of the cleanroom as well as negating the build-up of dirt on the fitting whilst also not affecting the ceiling system.
Surface mounting
The light fitting is directly attached to the ceiling surface and is locked on at installation with stainless steel expansion bolts to achieve the required load carrying capabilities.
