Physical control
Wipe the leaves of plants with a damp cloth or rinse the areas where aphids gather with water, especially the tender shoots and the back of the leaves. This method is safe and environmentally friendly for indoor plants.
Biological control
Introduce natural enemies of aphids, such as ladybugs and lacewings, which prey on and control their numbers. Or you can plant some flowers that attract natural enemies, such as mint and lavender.
Homemade natural insecticides
Chop chili peppers or garlic, soak them in water for a day, then filter out the solution and put it into a spray bottle. Spray it on places where aphids are present, which can have a certain insect-repellent effect.
Chemical control
When the number of aphids is large, chemical insecticides can be used. Choose a medicine that is safe for plants and effective against aphids, and dilute and spray it according to the instructions. Control the dosage and frequency of use to avoid harming plants and the environment.
