The DLI (Daily Light Integral) is an important measure that determines how well your plant LED light operates. It tells you about the total amount of photons that a plant gets in a day to go through photosynthesis. Comparing it with photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD), which is a one-time measure of the light strength, DLI is a sum of how much light was given to a plant, which helps in knowing the yield and energy efficiency of the crop. Therefore fitting your plants with correct DLI is important for indoor farming, providing each plant with enough light for growing period, flowering period, and biometry period of maximum yield.
